The PreUKCAT course - WHEN, WHERE & HOW much?When are the PreUKCAT courses held?Courses are generally held in early September each yearWhat are the next confirmed dates?Next course: Sunday 5th September 2010 - Book online nowEach course starts at 10.00am and finishes at 4.30pmRegistration opens at 9.15am (please note, there will be no entry into the buildings before this time).Do not worry if you are running late on the day, entry will still be permitted, we understand that you may be travelling a long distance to reach the course.You may, of course, leave the course early if you need to at the end of the day.Where are the courses held?Sir Alexander Fleming Building, South Kensington CampusImperial College London London SW7 2AZ(Number 35 on this map)Enter the Campus via "Imperial College Road" off "Exhibition Road" and follow signs to "PreUKCAT"Click here for travel directionsClick here for a map of the university campusThe price of the course is £99 and includes:All lectures and presentations.Lunch: Buffet of sandwiches, crisps, fruit juices, fruit and biscuits. All diets are catered for.Morning and afternoon refreshments, selection of fruit, snacks, fruit juices and water.We are able to keep the cost of the course to a minimum by not employing any course admin staff.All the Doctors who teach or present on the course are still practicing doctors in full time work.What your course fee is used for:- Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate.- Hire of the venue and audiovisual facilities- The catering for the day.- Remuneration for the presenting Doctors' expenses for their time preparing for and presenting at the course.- The costs of marketing and advertising the course.- The costs of hosting, designing and maintaining the website.Do you have a place confirmed?Click here to check the status of your course bookingIf your course status (from the link above) shows "payment received" or "booking confirmed", all you need to do is arrive on the day, there is not need to contact us.All information about the day is available from this website.We don't send out any further emails or post, just turn up on the day.Online applications are processed immediately.Cheque applications will be updated within a few days of receipt of your cheque.If you do need to contact the PreUKCAT organisers, email is the preferred method.What to bring on the dayPlease bring a pen and some paper to make notes during the day.Please bring a basic calculator with you on the day.Everything else is provided, including refreshments and lunch.LocationThe course will be clearly signposted on the day.What to wearThere is no dress code for the day.
